Rawnda Pierce, the Executive Director of Twin Cities Development Association and with Western Nebraska Housing Opportunities, spoke about the revitalization of older homes (Grandma's House). Houses of the elderly can sometimes be neat and tidy, but also have the challenges of chopped up spaces with minimal open concept, old siding, out of date materials, and more. Pierce shared her projects where some paint, new hardware, and updated lighting altered the space, as well as some tips to saving money on rehabs.
