Sara Arnett also presented as a Wood River 2020 Committee Member and Compliance Officer for Heritage Bank about the housing accomplishments in Wood River, Nebraska. Their journey began in 2014 with an OOR Survery; this led to 13 homes improved and 2 demolitions.

The Custer Economic Development Corporation highlighted housing initiatives since 2014, noting the construction of more than 80 homes and 61 apartment units since 2013. Scotti Ross and Stuart Fox emphasized that many of these projects were made possible through Tax Increment Financing (TIF).
